Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Coon Rapids, MN is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician I. The position offers Monday to Friday schedules with rotating shifts between 6:30 AM and 12:00 PM, including rotating weekends and holidays.

Pay range is $25.00 - $36.12 per hour, with eligibility for annual performance bonus and comprehensive benefits. Responsibilities include performing and reporting routine analytical tests, ensuring QC, maintaining LIS data, and adhering to CLIA/HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Laboratory Science or Medical Technology required.
• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or Chemistry/Biology preferred.
• ASCP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform and report on assigned analytical tests per SOPs with QC.
• Assist with moderate complexity testing under supervision.
• Handle specimens and maintain test records per policies.
• Maintain turnaround times including STAT results.
• Document QC analyses and instrument functionality.
• Inform supervision of issues and deviations.
• Enter results into LIS for physician review.
• Maintain safe, clean lab areas and equipment.
