Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Saint Paul, MN is seeking an entry-level Medical Laboratory Scientist I to join our clinical team. The role involves sample handling, test analyses, and reporting results with strict adherence to CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA guidelines.

Work schedule Monday to Wednesday 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM and Thursday/Friday 12:00 PM–8:30 PM; compensation includes hourly pay, potential annual bonus, and comprehensive benefits designed to support health and development.

Qualifications

• 1 year clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow the laboratory's procedures for specimen handling and processing, test analyses, reporting and maintaining records of patient test result.
• Maintain records that demonstrate proficiency testing samples are tested in the same manner as patient specimens.
• Analyze specimens using approved testing procedures.
• Review and release test results.
• Follow CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and safety guidelines as described in their respective guidelines.
• Identify problems that may adversely affect test performance or reporting and correct or notify supervisor.

BS in Medical Technology or related field
