Job summary

Patient First is hiring a Medical Technician/Medical Laboratory Technologist to deliver quality, rapid lab results and support clinical staff. You will follow strict specimen handling procedures, maintain QA records, and assist with patient care including vital signs and triage when needed.

The role requires strong communication, multitasking, and endurance to work in a busy lab setting with CPR certification and relevant education.

Qualifications

• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with quality control and maintaining records preferred.
• Ability to work with rapid lab results and high-volume testing.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality and rapid lab results with proper procedures and safety.
• Follow specimen collection, handling, processing, and reporting procedures.
• Maintain quality control documentation and instrument calibrations.
• Order lab and medical supplies as directed.
• Assist clinicians with patient care and vitals.
• Troubleshoot test systems and coordinate with supervisor as needed.
• Operate and maintain lab equipment and keep areas clean.
• Attend mandatory trainings and center meetings.
