Job summary

Patient First is seeking a Medical Technologist / Medical Laboratory Technician to join our laboratory team. The role focuses on delivering accurate, timely lab results, maintaining specimen handling standards, and supporting physicians and nurses with patient care and testing workflows.

Qualifications include education in chemistry/biology or clinical lab science, laboratory experience preferred, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing.
• High school graduate (or equivalent) with related college coursework or degrees in chemistry, biology, or clinical/medical lab science; or one year of technician training; or completion of the Military Medical Laboratory Procedures course.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality and rapid lab results with knowledge of laboratory analyses, proper procedures, equipment, and safety.
• Follow procedures for specimen collection, handling, processing, test analysis, reporting and record-keeping of results.
• Maintain quality control policies and document calibrations and maintenance.
