Job summary

Advocate Health's Winston-Salem Reference Lab Testing department seeks a Medical Laboratory Technologist for full-time days. The role focuses on accurate, timely test results within QC/QA standards and strict safety practices in a busy reference laboratory.

Primarily 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with weekends/holidays as needed; 40 hours weekly; ASCP certification preferred and an Associate's degree preferred. Benefits eligible with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree preferred.
• Medical Laboratory Technologist certification (ASCP) or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience as Medical Technologist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures accuracy and timeliness of patient laboratory test results.
• Ensures quality of test results by following QC and QA procedures.
• Ensures safety and compliance in the lab.
• Maintains appropriate education to maintain current certifications as applicable.
