Mercy is seeking a Laboratory Support Technician (LST III) to join our provider care team. You will assist with specimen collection, processing, and transport, while performing limited lab tasks under supervision and maintaining HIPAA confidentiality.

The role emphasizes excellent customer service, data and scheduling support, and adherence to Mercy Service Standards as we strive to deliver compassionate patient care and accurate results.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year phlebotomy or clinical laboratory experience.
• Previous Mercy LST II designation or equivalent experience.
• Satisfactorily complete the facility competencies to be eligible for advancement.
• Have no active disciplinary actions or active performance improvement plans.
• Successfully complete the probationary period.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with the processing, transport and referral of laboratory specimens and reports.
• Perform duties and responsibilities in line with Mercy Service Standards and HIPAA confidentiality requirements.
• Provide limited laboratory testing and assist technologists in appropriate test methods as required.
• Exhibit excellent customer service skills in interactions with patients and staff.
• Support data and scheduling functions as part of the provider care team.
