Job summary

ADVANCED CHENEGA SERVICES, LLC. at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, TX seeks a Medical Laboratory Technician to perform high-complexity lab tests and ensure accurate specimen processing.

You will support DPALS across hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and other sections, delivering timely results and maintaining quality controls. Responsibilities include phlebotomy, data integrity, equipment maintenance, and collaboration with clinicians to assist in diagnoses and treatment

Qualifications

• Graduate from NAACLS/ABHES accredited MLT program or AMT-acceptable program with CE requirements.
• Associates degree/certificate in Laboratory Science, MLT, MLS or MT.
• Possess and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Maintain registration/certification through ASCP or AMT.
• Minimum one year of laboratory technician experience in the past two years.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-complexity clinical lab tests in hematology, chemistry, microbiology, histology, cytology, urinalysis, serology, blood bank.
• Ensure accurate specimen processing and preparation for analysis.
• Deliver timely and reliable test results supporting patient care.
• Maintain equipment readiness and perform troubleshooting as needed.
• Uphold quality control and regulatory compliance (CLIA, OSHA, HIPAA).
• Communicate effectively with physicians and staff; participate in process improvement.
