• 2 year Medical Laboratory Technician program

• Expertise with computer based data

Responsibilities

• Procure blood samples from all ages and assist processing bone marrow aspirations
• Identify patients with two identifiers and process specimens accurately
• Report complex CLIA test results in Blood Bank, Hematology, Chemistry, Urinalysis, Serology, Microbiology, Coagulation
• Document abnormal results clearly for critical situations
• Assist in QC/QA data collection and analysis
• Support in developing in-service education or competency programs
• Maintain safety and regulatory standards and HIPAA compliance
