Mercy Health in Irvine, CA is seeking a Medical Lab Scientist (MLS) to perform routine tests on blood, tissues and other specimens, delivering accurate results to physicians while upholding patient safety.

Requires a BS in Clinical Laboratory Science or related field, and MLS Certification (or eligible). Externship preferred. Mercy Health offers competitive pay, medical/dental/vision coverage, paid time off and professional development.

Formación

• BS in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Laboratory Science, Biomedical Science, Biology or Biochemistry with CLIA-approved program (required)
• MLS Certification or eligible by a recognized agency (preferred ASCP) (required)
• Externship program completed (preferred)

Responsabilidades

• Performs analytical tests on biological specimens accurately and timely
• Performs quality control and ensures results meet established ranges
• Maintains safety and cleanliness; monitors equipment and temperatures
• Communicates results effectively to physicians and staff
• Other duties as assigned
