AdventHealth is seeking a Medical Lab Scientist, StaffFlex for night shifts in Illinois. The role involves interpreting complex results, leading instrument maintenance, and overseeing quality controls. A Bachelor's in medical technology with required licensure and ASCP/AMT certification is required, with 2+ years of lab experience (5+ preferred).

Beckman Access and AU experience are preferred. The position is a full-time, night shift with a 13-week assignment and no on-call duties.

Competenze

• ASCP or AMT certification is required.
• Bachelor's degree in medical technology or related field with appropriate licensure/certification if required.
• Minimum 2+ years of technical laboratory experience; 5+ years preferred.

Mansioni

• Interpret complex test results and serve as a resource for advanced tests.
• Lead instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Oversee quality controls and assurance testing.
• Assist with data collection and special projects.
• Train medical laboratory staff and students; document orientations.
• Perform pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical procedures accurately.
• Support proficiency testing and maintain accurate records.
