Qualifications

• Bachelor in Clinical Laboratory Science or related field and CLIA approved program.
• MLS Certification or eligible by a recognized agency (ASCP preferred).
• Externship program completed (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Performs analytical tests on biological specimens accurately per procedures.
• Determines specimen acceptability and flags abnormal results.
• Performs quality control and ensures results meet ranges before release.
• Maintains safe, clean work area and troubleshoots equipment as needed.
• Engages professionally with staff and patients; supports team objectives.
• Other duties as assigned.
