Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field.
• Current ASCP or ASCPi Board of Certification as MLT, MLS, or equivalent generalist certification.
• Minimum two years of clinical laboratory experience or equivalent postsecondary teaching experience.
• Ability to travel regularly between CNM's South Valley Campus lab facility and affiliated clinical training sites.
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills sufficient to liaise with clinical site partners, students, and program faculty.

Responsibilities

• Effectively prepare, teach, grade, and assess student learning in courses assigned.
• Create and model a quality learning environment to support a diverse student population.
• Structure classes and curriculum to outcomes.
• Prepare, distribute and utilize instructional materials and syllabi.
• Convene classes as scheduled and respond to student inquiries.
