Job summary

CNM is seeking a full-time Medical Laboratory Science faculty member to deliver high-quality instruction to a diverse student body and support college goals for student success and retention.

The role includes service beyond teaching, involvement in curriculum development, and collaboration with internal and external partners to advance CNM's mission. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's in Medical Laboratory Science, an ASCP certification, and at least two years of clinical lab experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field.
• Current ASCP or ASCPi Board of Certification as MLT/MLS or equivalent generalist certification.
• Minimum two (2) years of clinical laboratory experience performing patient testing or equivalent teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach and assess student learning in assigned courses.
• Create a quality learning environment for diverse learners.
• Structure classes to outcomes; update curricula to maintain currency.
• Maintain student records and provide documentation for incompletes.
• Utilize technology and instructional materials effectively.
• Collaborate with colleagues and department on program outcomes.
