Job summary

Carestream Health Inc. seeks a Field Service Engineer to support X‑Ray Systems in the Boston area. You install, troubleshoot, service, and maintain hospital imaging equipment, building strong customer relationships and driving service revenue.

The role involves possible overnight travel and a home office base, with a company vehicle, laptop, and cell phone provided. Hospitals and imaging centers form the customer base; you will operate under regulatory requirements and contribute to outages and

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years in diagnostic imaging or 4+ years in electronics industry, preferably field service.
• Proficient in basic networking and computer concepts; able to read schematics and site drawings.
• Valid driver's license with appropriate driving record.
• Able to install, troubleshoot, and repair imaging equipment in hospital settings.

Responsibilities

• Own customer relationships through pro-active visits and timely communications.
• Identify and resolve issues; escalate as needed to ensure service delivery.
• Generate revenue growth by recommending service solutions.
• Collaborate with regional teams to improve processes and share knowledge.
• Complete PMs, installations, and related service tasks independently.
