Job summary

Select Medical in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Patient Service Specialist for PRN/per diem roles in our outpatient PT centers. The schedule runs weekdays from 7am to 6pm and includes travel among four San Antonio centers; starting compensation is $16/hour, based on experience.

As the front desk point of contact, you will greet patients, register them, schedule visits, coordinate with insurers, and collect co-pays while supporting center operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 1 year of Front Desk experience.
• 1 year of Medical Office experience.
• 1 year of Scheduling experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about visits and next appointment.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and by phone.
• Regular communication with attorneys, insurance, translation companies, market operational leaders and business development team.
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.

***This position requires traveling between four centers in the greater San Antonio area.***
