Job summary

Talentify in Pearland, TX is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to manage front desk operations and the patient experience at our outpatient physical therapy center. The role includes greeting patients, scheduling, collecting co-pays, and coordinating with insurance and providers.

This PRN/Perdiem position offers weekday schedules that vary, requires travel between Pearland centers, and starts at $16 per hour with 401k eligibility after meeting hours.

Qualifications

Position: Patient Service Specialist

Location: Pearland, TX

Type of Employment: PRN/Perdiem (FLOAT - NOT FULL TIME)

Schedule: Weekdays - Varies

Compensation: Starting at $16 hour (pending experience)

This position requires traveling between centers in the greater Pearland area.

Reliable transportation and a clean driving record is preferred.

As a patient service specialist, you’ll manage both the patient side and business side of our center. Responsibilities

• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders and business development team
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED required
• 1 Year of Front Desk Experience
• 1 Year of Medical Office Experience
• 1 Year of Scheduling Experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Health Care Experience
• Insurance Verification Experience
• Bilingual
