Job summary

Talentify in Pittsburgh is seeking a Patient Service Specialist - Float to greet and register patients at the front desk, explain visit expectations, and help schedule appointments. This full-time role supports patient care and center operations in a busy outpatient setting.

You will handle co-pays, manage payer approvals, and coordinate with insurance and external offices. The position offers Monday–Friday hours with some evenings, and compensation of $15.00–$16.00 per hour depending on

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of medical office experience.
• Front desk experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Type of Employment: Full-time

Schedule: Monday - Friday (hours vary/some evenings)

Compensation: $15.00 - $16.00/hour (pending experience)
