Rush University Medical Center is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to join the West Palm Beach outpatient physical therapy center. You will serve as the first point of contact, greeting patients and guiding them through their visit, while also handling front desk duties and essential administrative tasks.

You will schedule appointments, coordinate with insurance providers, and assist with co-pays and verifications to ensure smooth operations and a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of medical office experience.
• Front desk experience preferred.
• Bilingual abilities and insurance verification experience a plus.

Responsabilités

• Greet and register patients and provide information about visit expectations and next appointment.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Maintain communication with attorneys' offices, insurance companies, translation services, operational leaders, and the business development team.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.

Position: Patient Service Specialist

Location: West Palm Beach, FL

Type of Employment: Full-time

Schedule: Monday - Friday, (Varies)

Compensation: $16.00-$20.00/hour (pending experience)

• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 Year of Medical Office Experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous therapy experience
• 1 Year of Front Desk Experience
• Bilingual
• Insurance Verification Experience
