Select Medical in Kansas City, MO, a network of outpatient physical therapy centers, is looking for a Patient Service Specialist to greet and register patients, explain what to expect during their visit, and schedule appointments. You will be the friendly face at the front desk, helping patients with check-in and directing them to the right resources.

This full-time, weekday position requires a High School Diploma or GED, with preferred front desk and healthcare experience.

• Preferred: Front desk experience.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Schedule: Weekdays, Monday through Friday (9am-5:30pm)

Compensation:$XX.XX - $XX.XX/hour
