Job summary

Talentify in Bondurant, IA is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to join our outpatient physical therapy center. You will greet and register patients, explain what to expect during visits, and help with next-appointment coordination at the front desk.

You will schedule appointments in person or by phone, collect co-pays, and verify payer authorizations while coordinating with insurers and translation services to support smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED.
• Preferred: 1 year Front Desk experience.
• Preferred: Healthcare experience.

Overview

Position: Patient Service Specialist

Location: Bondurant, IA

Type of Employment: Full-time

Schedule: Monday-Friday (shifts are between 7 am and 6 pm)

Compensation: $17.00 - $20.00/hour (pending experience)

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Qualifications

Minimum:

• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred:

• 1 Year Front Desk experience
• Healthcare experience
