Job summary

Select Medical in Belle Vernon, PA is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to greet patients, register them at the front desk, and support both patient care and business operations at our outpatient physical therapy center.

The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, with 2–3 evenings per week. Compensation is $16.00/hour. Responsibilities include scheduling, insurance verifications, copays, and coordinating with medical and administrative partners to ensure a smooth patient experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Health Care Experience.
• 1 Year Front Desk experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about visits and next appointments.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Coordinate with attorneys, insurers, translators, market leaders and business development teams.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.

• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Qualifications

Minimum:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Health Care Experience

Preferred:

• 1 Year Front Desk experience
