Saco Bay PT is seeking a Patient Service Specialist at our Auburn, ME center. You will welcome and register patients, explain visit steps, and confirm upcoming appointments. This full-time role runs weekdays, with hourly compensation of $18.00–$20.00.

Responsibilities include scheduling, coordinating with insurers and other partners, collecting co-pays, and handling authorizations. A high school diploma is required, with preference for front desk and scheduling experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: 1 year front desk experience.
• Preferred: insurance verification experience.
• Preferred: 1 year scheduling experience.

Responsabilités

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and about their next appointment at checkout.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and by phone.
• Maintain regular communication with attorneys, insurance providers, translation services, market ops leaders and business development teams.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and perform insurance authorizations and verifications.

As a patient service specialist, you’ll manage both the patient side and the business side of our center. Don’t underestimate the impact you can make on every patient’s care experience, even before they leave the waiting room.

Position: Patient Service Specialist

Location: 730 Center Street, Suite 9 Auburn, Maine 04210

Type of Employment: Full-time

Schedule: Weekdays, Monday through Friday

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00/hour
