Job summary

CENTRAL MAGNETIC IMAGING NORTH is seeking a Medical Office Front Desk Representative to be the first point of contact for patients and visitors in our Florida medical practice. You will create a welcoming, organized environment while handling essential administrative tasks and ensuring HIPAA privacy.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, managing calls and emails, scheduling, maintaining records, assisting with insurance inquiries, and handling payments.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a medical office is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Proficient in using medical office software, EHR systems.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds, required.
• Able to work Monday–Friday from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and visitors, answer inquiries and provide assistance professionally.
• Answer and route calls, manage emails, and relay messages to staff.
• Manage patient appointments and coordinate with medical staff to minimize wait times.
• Maintain and update patient records with privacy compliance (HIPAA).
• Assist patients with insurance inquiries, verify coverage, and process co-pays.
• Perform administrative tasks: filing, scanning, and inventory of supplies.
• Maintain front desk and waiting area, well-stocked with forms and brochures.
• Ensure smooth flow of patients through the medical office and improve efficiency.
