Job summary

Talentify in Indiana is seeking a friendly medical receptionist to greet patients, answer calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient data in the practice management system. You will verify insurance, post charges, and assist the clinical team with routine duties to keep the office running smoothly.

The role requires at least a high school diploma, 17+ years of age, and preferred experience in healthcare. Spanish language ability is a plus, and a sign-on bonus is offered where applicable.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 17 years of age.
• A minimum of one-year related office experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Medical terminology and coding exposure is preferred.
• Spanish language ability is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a cheerful, professional manner.
• Answer phones, relay messages, and manage scheduling for providers.
• Enter patient demographics and insurance data into the system accurately.
• Verify insurance information at visits and update patient accounts.
• Post charges and maintain patient records and correspondence.
• Assist with prescription refills, labs, tests, and pre-certifications.
• Support clerical tasks: faxing, copying, and ordering supplies.
• Open and sort mail and maintain filing systems.
