As a Medical Front Desk Receptionist, your responsibilities will include greeting patients, registering patients for their office visit, validating insurances, and creating follow up appointments. Key Responsibilities
  • Warmly greet patients and visitors upon arrival.
  • Check patients in and out efficiently, ensuring accurate collection of information.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, coordinating with other staff to optimize practice flow.
  • Respond to inquiries, and assist with patient concerns.
  • Collect and process payments, including patient co-pays and balances.
  • Maintain patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance.
  • Assist with insurance verification and pre-authorization processes.
  • Keep the front office area organized and welcoming.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to support overall patient care.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role, preferably in a medical setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in office software and electronic medical records systems.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
