Steindler Orthopedic Clinic is seeking a friendly, detail‑oriented front desk receptionist to greet patients, verify insurance, schedule appointments, and process payments in a fast‑paced clinic. You will support providers and staff while maintaining patient confidentiality and a positive patient experience.

Proficiency with EMR/EHR software and Microsoft Office is preferred; prior medical office or customer service experience is valued. This role is on site in a busy clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Greet and check in patients in a courteous and professional manner.
• Verify patient demographic and insurance information.
• Handle copays and process payments accurately.
• Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes is helpful.
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems preferred.

Responsabilités

• Answer incoming phone calls and direct calls appropriately.
• Schedule, confirm, and update patient appointments.
• Communicate effectively with providers, clinical staff, and patients.
• Assist with patient forms, referrals, and general administrative tasks.
• Monitor reception and waiting areas to ensure a positive patient experience.
