ProHealth Physicians, part of the Optum family, is seeking a friendly Medical Receptionist in Danbury, CT. You will greet patients, check in/out, schedule, and handle payments, using the EHR per policy. This full-time role supports the care team and may float to local practices as needed.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of receptionist or customer service experience.
• Intermediate level of Microsoft Office proficiency.

Aufgaben

• Conduct check-in and check-out process.
• Answer incoming calls and use EHR to document details of patient inquiries.
• Conduct outreach to patients requiring appointments or service follow-up.
• Schedule appointments using standard scheduling protocols.
• Manage administrative in-basket pools and work queues.
• Scan documents into the EHR per standard protocols.
• Balance payments and prepare deposits.
• Protect patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal and financial information.
• Provide coverage at other ProHealth locations on an ad hoc basis.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
