Job summary

The Injury Clinic is hiring a Front Office Staff to be the welcoming first point of contact for patients at our Lake Oswego and Beaverton locations. You will manage patient flow, complete insurance verifications, and handle scheduling and paperwork in our AthenaOne EMR system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Proven experience in a healthcare administrative or customer service role, preferably in a medical office setting.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, insurance verification, and prior authorization processes.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and general office software.
• Familiarity and ability to comply with HIPAA regulations.
• Ability to reliably commute to Lake Oswego, OR and Beaverton, OR.

Responsibilities

• You will be the welcoming and efficient first point of contact for our patients, managing patient flow and essential paperwork.
• Handle insurance and referrals navigation and patient scheduling coordination.
• Register patients in EMR (AthenaOne) and review forms; manage inboxes and mail.
• Coordinate interpreters for appointments and adjust schedules to optimize provider availability.
• Maintain office communications, scan documents, and ensure HIPAA compliance.
