Job summary

The Oregon Clinic is seeking a full-time Patient Services Specialist for the Orthopedics Clinic in NE Portland. This role focuses on front-desk tasks, patient access, scheduling, and insurance info, delivering compassionate customer service.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year front office experience, EMR familiarity (Epic a plus), and strong communication skills to support a patient-centered care environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of medical front office experience strongly preferred.
• Orthopedics experience is a plus.
• EMR experience preferred; Epic experience a plus.
• Familiarity with insurance and referral processes.
• Ability to communicate professionally with patients and team; patient-focused care.

Responsibilities

• Check in/out new and established patients.
• Schedule and reschedule surgeries and appointments per protocols.
• Obtain and complete insurance information.
• Answer phones on a multi-line system.
• Update patient records as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
