Job summary

Siemens Healthineers AG in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support Varian Medical Systems equipment at local customer sites. You will troubleshoot, repair, install, upgrade, and perform preventive maintenance per VMS guidelines to ensure equipment operates efficiently.

Candidates should possess strong electronics/electro-mechanical knowledge, diagnostic skills, and the ability to manage schedules and communicate with customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum: HS Degree or Equivalent; Preferred: Associate degree, technical/vocational training, or military electronics experience.
• Experience with electronic and electro-mechanical engineering and calibration equipment.
• Strong communication skills and field service experience.
• Must meet vendor credentialing requirements for client site access.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair designated VMS equipment within service territory.
• Manage time and schedule for preventive maintenance, installations, and upgrades.
• Escalate issues to senior staff when necessary and maintain documentation.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships with strong communication.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and field service procedures.
