Job summary

Must hold an MD or DO with US licensure, and possess 3 years of graduate training or equivalent experience. Compensation ranges from $208,000 to $250,000 with full benefits and potential for standard federal health and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Experience performing comprehensive pre-employment medical evaluations according to DoD/USMEPCOM standards.
• Ability to conduct detailed histories and physicals, interpret labs, and identify disqualifying conditions.
• Must meet licensure requirements and credentialing for physician practice in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Ensure OSHA and Privacy Act compliance per USMEPCOM, DoD, and service regulations.
• Conduct thorough medical record reviews, histories, and physical examinations per DoD standards; evaluate labs; coordinate with consultants.
• Evaluate diagnostic test results to identify potential disqualifying conditions.
• Perform comprehensive in-person medical histories for prescreened applicants.
• Assess applicants for injuries and disorders across body systems; conduct orthopedic-neurological exams.
• Inform applicants of abnormal findings and update the USMEPCOM database.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
