Cherokee Federal is seeking a Physician to perform comprehensive MEPS medical evaluations and ensure compliance with OSHA, Privacy Act, and DoD standards. The role requires on-site duties at MEPS locations and eligibility for a CAC/PIV credential.

Starting salary for Physicians ranges from 208,000 to 250,000 USD, with full benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401K. Visa statuses and security clearances must be navigated as part of the hiring process.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from US/Canada or equivalent
• Current, active license or registration as a Physician in US jurisdiction
• At least one year of supervised clinical experience after MD/DO
• 3 years of graduate training in the specialty or equivalent experience
• Preference for CAC or PIV credential

Responsabilités

• Provide comprehensive medical evaluations for MEPS applicants in compliance with OSHA, Privacy Act, DoD and USMEPCOM standards
• Review medical records, take histories, perform physical exams, interpret tests and identify disqualifying conditions
• Assess all body systems and determine need for additional exams
• Inform applicants of abnormal findings and coordinate with staff for documentation in the database
• Conduct in-person histories and orthopedic-neurological exams; coordinate with consultants
• Ensure credentialing requirements are satisfied and support suitability determinations
