Are you mechanically inclined with a knack for hands-on work? Do you enjoy a flexible schedule and working independently, but also have the support of a team? The Equipment Service Technician is a remote-based, customer-facing employee, primarily working inside hospitals. You will troubleshoot and repair medical equipment used in surgical procedures, and provide installation support on complex mechanical, electromechanical, and electronic units. This includes STERIS' main line of OEM equipment (Washers and Sterilizers), our largest equipment portfolio.
Individuals with experience in HVAC repair, mechanics, maintenance, refrigeration, boilers, chillers, equipment repair, diesel and automotive repair, aviation repair, plumbing, electrical, etc., are often successful.
This is a remote, customer-facing position. Candidates must be based in New Jersey to support and service customers in this territory.
We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
Pay range: $47,750 - $66,937.50, plus commission. Pay rates depend on experience, education, certifications, and other factors.
