Are you mechanically inclined with a knack for hands-on work? Do you enjoy a flexible schedule and working independently, but also have the support of a team? The Equipment Service Technician is a remote-based, customer-facing role, primarily working inside hospitals. You will troubleshoot and repair medical equipment used in surgical procedures, as well as support installation of complex mechanical, electromechanical, and electronic units. This includes STERIS's main OEM equipment portfolio like washers and sterilizers.
Individuals with experience in HVAC repair, mechanics, maintenance, refrigeration, boilers, chiller systems, equipment repair, diesel and automotive repair, aviation repair, plumbing, electrical work, etc., are often successful.
This is a remote, customer-facing position. Candidates must be based in New Jersey to support and service customers within this territory.
We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
Pay range: $47,750 - $66,937.50, plus potential commissions. Rates depend on experience, education, certifications, and location.
