Job summary

Smith Seckman Reid, Inc. is seeking a Medical Equipment Planner I to plan and manage the medical equipment scope for healthcare projects, coordinating with architects, vendors, and clinical users. You will maintain equipment lists and support procurement and installation activities.

You will partner with design teams, attend planning sessions, and contribute to procurement analyses while upholding SSR's employee-owned culture and commitment to growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or related healthcare/clinical experience.
• 1–2 years medical equipment planning experience preferred.
• Experience planning small projects in acute care.
• Basic understanding of building design and construction schedules.

Responsibilities

• Plan medical equipment scope for healthcare projects and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Attend onsite/remote planning sessions and user group meetings across all phases.
• Manage Medical Equipment Responsibilities Matrix and attend OAC meetings.
• Support vendor presentations and RFP analyses.
• Review drawings for equipment requirements and ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Coordinate delivery, storage, and installation of equipment.
• Research new technologies and prepare final project reports.
