Job summary

Smith Seckman Reid, Inc. (SSR) seeks a Medical Equipment Planner I to plan and manage the medical equipment scope for healthcare projects.

You will coordinate with architects, vendors, and clinical users while maintaining accurate equipment lists and supporting procurement and installation activities. You will join a team that values ownership, accountability, and professional growth, participating in planning sessions, reviewing budgets, and ensuring equipment requirements align with drawings

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare environment or related field is required.
• 1-2 years of medical equipment planning experience preferred.
• Experience planning small projects in acute care settings is a plus.
• Basic understanding of building design and construction schedules.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage the medical equipment scope for healthcare projects.
• Coordinate with architects, vendors, and clinical users; maintain equipment lists.
• Support procurement and installation activities and assist with vendor analyses.
• Attend planning sessions and meetings across project phases and assist with equipment management.
• Review drawings, coordinate equipment requirements, and ensure dimensional accuracy.
