Job summary

Smith Seckman Reid, Inc (SSR) seeks a Medical Equipment Planner I to plan and manage the medical equipment scope for healthcare projects. The role involves coordinating with architects, vendors, and clinical users, maintaining equipment lists, and supporting procurement and installation activities.

You will participate in planning sessions, assist with vendor analyses, and help ensure budgets and equipment standards are met across project phases. A healthcare environment background is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or related healthcare experience preferred.
• 1–2 years of medical equipment planning experience.
• Experience planning small projects in acute care settings.
• Basic understanding of building design and construction schedules.

Responsibilities

• Plan medical equipment scope for healthcare projects and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Attend planning sessions and meetings across project phases.
• Assist with Equipment Responsibilities Matrix and coordination with design teams.
• Support vendor presentations, site visits, and RFP analyses.
• Review drawings and ensure equipment requirements are accurate and documented.
