Job summary

Smith Seckman Reid, Inc. (SSR) is seeking a Medical Equipment Planner I to help plan and manage the medical equipment scope for healthcare projects, coordinating with architects, vendors, and clinical users to keep equipment lists accurate and procurement on track.

You'll attend planning sessions, assist with budgets, equipment requirements, and installation activities, and support move management while researching new technologies for project closeouts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare environment and/or related experience.
• 1–2 years of medical equipment planning experience preferred.
• Experience planning small acute-care projects.
• Basic understanding of building design and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Plan the medical equipment scope for healthcare projects and maintain equipment lists.
• Coordinate with architects, vendors, and clinical users.
• Attend onsite/remote planning sessions and assist with procurement and installation.
• Assist with Medical Equipment Responsibilities Matrix; coordinate with design teams.
• Support vendor presentations, RFP analyses, and equipment management.
• Review drawings and ensure dimensional accuracy; update equipment requirements.
• Track budgets, purchase orders, and secure customer signoff for selections.
• Coordinate delivery, storage, and installation of medical equipment.
• Research emerging technologies and prepare closeout packages.
