Job summary

Meritus Health Inc is seeking a Medical Equipment Delivery Technician to join the Equipped For Life team in Hagerstown, MD. You will deliver and set up essential medical equipment for patients in their homes, ensuring safety, timeliness, and compassionate service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (required).
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (required).
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of local roads (preferred).
• Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.
• Must provide a certified copy of driving record annually.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up medical equipment (hospital beds, wheelchairs, oxygen systems, etc.).
• Assemble, set up, and educate patients and caregivers on equipment use.
• Operate company vehicles safely and maintain vehicle cleanliness and service logs
• Clean, tag, and inspect equipment upon returnMaintain accurate delivery and service documentation
• Participate in on‑call rotations for urgent evening/weekend deliveries
• Ensure all equipment meets performance standards and is properly labeled

Physical & Mental Requirements

This role involves frequent standing, walking, lifting (including over 50 lbs.), bending, and pushing/pulling. Candidates must have strong attention to detail, the ability to concentrate for extended periods, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
