Medical Service Company is seeking a Medical Equipment Technician in Lewis Center, Ohio. This role involves the delivery, set-up, and pickup of medical equipment and pharmaceuticals for home care customers. The ideal candidate will need strong communication skills and a clean driving record.

The position is full-time with on-call rotation, providing various benefits including medical insurance, tuition reimbursement, and a retirement plan.

Formación

• Must be at least 21 years of age with an excellent driving record.
• Clean and neat in personal appearance.
• Good physical condition with ability to lift 100 pounds.
• Must pass the HPE (Human Performance Evaluation) test.

Responsabilidades

• Determine best daily route for delivery and pickup.
• Verify and load staged orders for delivery.
• Demonstrate timeliness and courtesy with customers.
• Complete delivery and pickup paperwork accurately.
• Perform daily maintenance on assigned vehicle.
• Participate in on-call rotation.

Conocimientos

Excellent communication and customer relation skills

Experience with HME delivery

Educación

Graduate of an accredited high school or GED equivalence

Medical Equipment Technicians are responsible for the delivery, set‑up, patient education and pickup of DME equipment and pharmaceuticals to home care customers within a prescribed and assigned geographical area.

Schedule

Full Time Mon-Fri plus on call rotation

Responsibilities

• Determine with the Dispatch Coordinator the best daily route of the manifest for delivery of orders and pickup of equipment, and communicate with the Dispatch Coordinator on the completion of each stop.
• Verify and load staged orders as prescribed on the work order for delivery, and unload picked up equipment at completion of route.
• Demonstrate timeliness, courtesy, sincerity, and patience when dealing with customers, providing customer orientation, instructing on the proper use of equipment, and working with customers to solve a variety of problems.
• Complete delivery and pickup paperwork promptly and accurately, returning paperwork to the appropriate facility personnel.
• Perform daily maintenance on assigned vehicle.
• Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited high school or GED equivalence.

Experience/Knowledge/Skills/Physical Requirements:

• Experience with HME delivery is a plus
• Be at least 21 years of age with an excellent driving record
• Excellent communication and customer relation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills (a team player).
• Clean and neat in personal appearance.
