Job summary

Texas A&M University System seeks a Program Coordinator I to support the Rural Medicine Track within TAMU Health Science Center. You will coordinate clerkships, develop schedules, and liaise with campus leadership to align activities with LCME accreditation.

Required: bachelor’s degree and 2 years in medical education or higher education administration; travel up to 10%; grant-funded position with potential renewal. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in higher education administration.
• Two years of related experience in medical education and/or higher education administration.
• Preferred master’s degree and 3+ years of related experience.
• Experience with learning management systems (Canvas, eCampus) and MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Clerkship coordination to design and manage undergraduate medical education curriculum.
• Coordinate longitudinal integrated curriculum and e-learning using LMS and scheduling tools.
• Collaborate with leadership to plan conferences, meetings, and examinations.
• Support accreditation efforts (LCME) with data compilation and materials preparation.
• Maintain confidentiality of student records under FERPA/HIPAA.
