Avalere Health is seeking a Medical Editor to support projects by editing, proofreading, checking data, and managing copyright permissions. You will work with internal teams and, occasionally, external stakeholders such as congress organizers and journals, building your editing expertise across multiple accounts.

Competenze

• Degree in a scientific or related field; advanced degree advantageous (MD, PhD, PharmD, MSc, or equivalent).
• 1 year+ experience in medical or scientific editing within a healthcare consultancy or medical communications agency.
• Working knowledge of medical style guides (AMA) and applying guidelines to deliverables.
• Knowledge of client reference and review processes and online reference tools.
• Knowledge of copyright permissions in medical communications/pharmaceutical industry.
• Proficiency in PubMed searches and literature reviews.
• Strong MS Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); Adobe Acrobat; EndNote.
• Ability to prioritise and collaborate effectively within a team.
