Job summary

Avalere Health is seeking a Senior Project Manager to own complex Medical Affairs accounts, delivering on client needs with autonomy and cross‑functional collaboration. This role focuses on coordinating teams, timelines, and budgets to achieve meaningful outcomes for clients and patients alike.

You will lead timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communication across Client Service, Editorial and broader teams, mentoring colleagues and ensuring projects stay on track and within scope.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in client facing project management within a Medical Communications agency.
• Experience working on Medical Affairs accounts is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of assigned projects from a project management and financial perspective.
• Ensure clients and internal stakeholders are kept informed with timely updates.
• Actively drive timelines and act as internal information hub for the account.
• Actively manage project finances to achieve KPIs and discuss corrective actions with client and internal team.
• Identify and generate opportunities with existing and new accounts.
• Budget development, updating PM tools, and reporting.
• Timeline development and updates.
• Provide internal and external financial information.
• Invoicing clients; tracking and phasing projects.
• Mentoring and sharing best practices.
