Avalere Health is seeking a Medical Writer to produce high-quality manuscripts, posters, abstracts, and slides, while meeting tight timelines and budgets. You will collaborate with clients and external experts to translate complex data into compelling materials, maintaining rigorous scientific standards.

Ideal candidates hold a life sciences degree and bring exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills, with strong MS Office and PubMed search capabilities.

Qualifications

• BSc or higher in life sciences; a masters or PhD may be desirable but is not required.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in the use of MS Office.
• Proficiency in PubMed searches.

Responsibilities

• Research, write, and revise original editorial content across a range of project types (manuscripts, posters, abstracts, slide decks).
• Assess projects to identify collaboration needs (creative design, editorial support) and elicit help as needed.
• Liaise with clients, authors, speakers, and colleagues professionally and confidently, staying on top of projects.
