Job summary

Infinite Medical P.C. is seeking a dynamic Medical Director to oversee the delivery of comprehensive care to residents in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities, ensuring high-quality service and best practices across the healthcare team.

You will provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to clinical staff, guiding credentialing and regulatory readiness while promoting evidence-based care and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• CMD certification preferred.
• Extensive LTC/skilled nursing facility experience.
• Strong leadership, communication and team-building skills.
• Deep knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality improvement in LTC.
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
• Prolonged standing/walking; occasional lifting; computer work.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing oversight, mentorship, and clinical guidance to medical staff.
• Foster a collaborative environment and promote best practices.
• Lead the interview and credentialing of medical staff.
• Chair or co-chair the QAPI Committee quarterly.
• Assist in DOH survey preparedness and regulatory compliance.
• Lead implementation of new clinical programs and initiatives.
• Stay informed on geriatric/long-term care advancements.
• Provide direct patient care as needed.
