Job summary

Rocky Mountain PACE in Colorado Springs is seeking a Medical Director to provide community-based physician rounding in subacute skilled nursing facilities, with flexible scheduling and a low census of 10–20 participants seen weekly.

The role leads clinical oversight and quality for PACE services, collaborates with an interdisciplinary team, and mentors NPs and other providers while championing person-centered care for frail elderly participants.

Qualifications

• MD or DO licensed to practice in Colorado.
• ABMS Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine; geriatrics preferred.
• DEA registration; ability to maintain hospital privileges.
• Experience in primary care with frail or elderly populations.
• Passion for mission-driven, whole-person care.

Responsibilities

• Community-based physician rounding in subacute skilled nursing facilities.
• Lead clinical oversight and quality for PACE provider services.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team for comprehensive care.
