Job summary

The Medical Director of the Certified Mental Health Assistant Program at NEOMED will provide clinical oversight and contribute to curriculum development for CMHA. This part-time, non-tenure track appointment requires teaching, site coordination, and stakeholder engagement to maintain accreditation and program quality.

Applicants should hold an MD or DO with psychiatry residency, board certification, and licensed in Ohio.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completed residency in Psychiatry.
• Board Certification in Psychiatry with 10 years of clinical experience.
• Current active Ohio medical license.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical perspective to CMHA curriculum and program development.
• Coordinate teaching of pre-clinical classes and clinical rotations; ensure accreditation compliance.
• Supervise clinical sites, calibrate clinical experiences, and CQI of curriculum.
• Serve as program Medical Liaison with statewide stakeholders and engage in service.
