Job summary

NEOMED’s College of Graduate Studies seeks a Medical Director for the Certified Mental Health Assistant (CMHA) program. This part-time, non-tenure track appointment provides clinical leadership and curriculum oversight in a collaborative academic setting.

The Medical Director will assist the Program Director, coordinate clinical rotations, and work toward program accreditation. Faculty rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

• M.D. or D.O. degree required and board certification in Psychiatry.
• Residency training in Psychiatry completed.
• Current active Ohio medical license required.
• Minimum 5 years teaching experience in university settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide vision for the clinical curriculum and growth of the CMHA program.
• Coordinate clinical rotations and ensure accreditation compliance.
• Supervise clinical site calibration for quality educational experience.
• Support CQI of the clinical curriculum and program medicine liaison duties.
• Represent the program with statewide stakeholders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
