Job summary

NEOMED is seeking a part‑time Medical Director for the Certified Mental Health Assistant (CMHA) program within the Master of Science Mental Health Practice department. This non‑tenure track appointment provides clinical leadership and oversight of curriculum and clinical rotations to support accreditation and student success.

The role emphasizes collaboration with program leadership, teaching in pre‑clinical and clinical settings, and coordination with statewide stakeholders.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completed residency in Psychiatry and board certification.
• Active Ohio medical license and teaching experience in higher education.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical perspective to CMHA curriculum and growth.
• Coordinate and supervise clinical rotations and accreditation activities.
• Teach pre‑clinical and clinical courses and ensure consistency across sites.
