NEOMED’s College of Graduate Studies seeks a Medical Director for the Certified Mental Health Assistant (CMHA) program in a part-time, non-tenure track role. The position reports to the Program Director and will contribute to clinical curriculum development and accreditation readiness.

A Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathy with Psychiatry specialty is required, with leadership and teaching experience. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of teaching at university level and the ability to

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Residency in Psychiatry completed.
• Board Certified in Psychiatry with 10 years of clinical experience.
• Current Ohio license to practice medicine.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience teaching students or residents.
• Teaching experience in a university-based medical education setting.
• Coordinating the activity of and supervising clinicians.

Responsabilités

• Administrative oversight including involvement in the Program Advisory Committee and recruiting clinical sites.
• Recruit clinical sites and maintain relationships with local hospitals and health professions organizations.
• Recruit and interview program faculty and students; assist with accreditation metrics.
• Represent the program at professional and organizational events; support admissions recruitment.
• Teach in classroom and clinical settings; develop and analyze curriculum to ensure standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned; participate in college and university committees.
